Why Cahaya

What sets our approach apart

Calm, unhurried setting

Sessions are designed for adults who value thoughtful discussion over a rushed agenda. You are never pressured toward any particular decision.

Small groups only

No large lecture-hall format. Groups are capped at twelve so that each participant has room to ask questions and work through their own situation.

No product sales

Cahaya is an educational setting. We do not sell financial products, receive referral fees, or recommend any particular bank, broker, or insurer.

Singapore context throughout

CPF, SRS, Singapore Savings Bonds, MAS-regulated instruments — the content addresses the actual financial landscape that Singapore residents navigate.

Written materials included

Group participants receive a printed reader at the start and a summary booklet at the close. Bespoke track participants receive a written note after each session.

Structured for working adults

Group seminars are held on Saturday mornings. Bespoke sessions are arranged at times that suit the household, typically on weekday evenings.

A place in the next group

Would a careful conversation about your finances be worthwhile?

Places in our group sessions fill steadily. If you would like to know more before deciding, you are welcome to send us a note or call and we will respond without any pressure.

Common Questions

Things people often ask

Do I need any prior knowledge of finance to join?
No prior knowledge is assumed. The Lattice Discussions begin from the household balance sheet — a straightforward starting point — and build from there. Participants range from those who have never looked closely at their finances to those who have some familiarity but would like to think more carefully.
Is this financial advice? Will you recommend products?
No. Cahaya is an educational setting. We do not provide personal financial advice under the Financial Advisers Act, and we do not receive commissions or referral fees from any financial institution. The aim of our programmes is to give you the knowledge and framework to have more informed conversations with your own bank, broker, or financial planner.
How large are the groups?
Groups for both the Lattice Discussions and the Quiet Household Investment Course are capped at twelve participants. This size allows for genuine discussion and enough space for each person to raise their own questions without the session feeling crowded or rushed.
Where are sessions held?
Group sessions are held at our premises at 58 Tras Link, #11-03, Singapore 079044, a short walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT. Bespoke Bamboo Track sessions are also held in a private seminar room at the same address, and we can occasionally arrange for sessions to take place at a location convenient to the household.
How do I reserve a place?
You can use the enquiry form below, or call us directly at +65 6645 2807 on weekdays between 9 am and 5 pm. We will respond within one working day with available dates and any other details you may need before deciding.
What is the fee, and how is payment arranged?
The Lattice Discussions cost SGD 290 per participant. The Quiet Household Investment Course is SGD 470. The Bamboo Track is SGD 790 for the full seven-session programme. Payment is by bank transfer following confirmation of your place, and a receipt is issued. Full payment is requested before the first session.
